︎︎︎ Brief: Documenting Lapod, a small village in Rajasthan and interviening in its current socio cultural fabric.
The project was a simple exercise of documentation of the architectural fabric of the village, which helped in acquiring knowledge about it current socio cultural and economic situations, lifestyle and occupation, and also the influence of clothing, food, religion, caste, and other aspects on the built form.

In addition to the documentation, as a way of giving back to the place, a wall in the centre of the main chowk as an intervention was painted white and some bollywood movies were shown every night by projecting on it. The same space was later converted into a stage where traditional musicians of the villages performed their folk songs. This helped in strenghthening the community interaction within the village.
The map was presented to and signed by Architect, Charles Correa.
